AllCamels.com Proudly Presents Its First Photo Contest and Its Winners! (Updated August 4, 2002 - All winning photos are now available for viewing!)

To celebrate our second anniversary, AllCamels.com put on a Camel Photo Contest! There were three categories and the winner of each category will receive a $25 gift certificate for one of the following online vendors (their choice): 223Collectibles.com, Art.com, AllPosters.com, Amazon.com, ArtinaClick.com, Barewalls.com, Barnes & Noble, BooksAMillion.com, CatalogCity.com, FunAgain Games, GlobalGallery.com, Hazelden Bookplace, Holy Land Mall, and UncommonGoods.com .* Second place winners in each category will receive an AllCamels.com T-Shirt.**

There were so many great photos entered that our six judges got stuck and there ended up being ties for second place in all three categories! Category ONE - The "Comical Camels" Category. We all know that camels can put themselves (or find themselves) in the most ridiculous of situations. Sometimes we're even lucky enough to get it on film. Here are the ones that tickled the funny bone of our judges the most!

Category TWO - The "Camels and Their People" Category. This category is for photographs of camels working with people, whether on tour near the pyramids, in the midst of a grand camel caravan, galloping for the finish line in a race, or whatever else you can think of.

Category THREE - The "All Camels" Category. The name says it all. This category is for just camels, whether in the desert, by a lake, in a field, single, or in a herd.

*Winners will be responsible for ensuring that they will be able to use the gift certificate from their location upon choosing the store to receive the gift certificate from.
