I'm so glad I found this website. I currently work with two bactrian camels at a small zoo in Florida. Not much is known by me or the rest of the staff about camels in general. If not for your website, I may have lost my three year old Dromedary. Since putting her on a seleniul supplement I am seeing much improvement in her gait. I am constantly giving selenium injections to every other species of animal in my practice, I feel terrible that I overlooked my camel!!! Thanks for the good job with the site.

It was good to know that so many people from noncamel rearing countries are interested in camel. I am a vet working in the field of camel reproduction. I have collection of photographs of camels in Thar desert of Rajasthan and how they are integral part of life of desert people. I have collection of articles made from camel hide and camel bone (similar to articles made of ivory or tusks of elephants) and also stuffed camels. Sumant Vyas

It is nice to see that there are others who love camels so much. I am the head trainer of hoofstock for Six Flags Marine World in California and truly enjoy working with our camels. They are a lot of work but well worth it. Great web-page.

Hello! I love your website! I am a camel lover and collector. I had no idea that there were other camel fanatics like me. Thanks for the info in this great site.... my grandparents run "Alstone Wildlife Park" in England. We have a 6yr old Bactrian Camel called Theodore, he is a very happy and healthy young man but thanks to this site we can now do our best to keep him happier and healthier for the rest of his Long Life in Somerset! Hi fellow camel fans! I'm in Saudi at the moment and I saw my first camel-race a few days ago. Needless to say, now I'm hooked! Soon I'll be back in the UK, which seems to be mournfully camel-less. I really want to learn to ride and race camels. Does anyone know of a camel stable (preferably not too far away from the Manchester area!) where I can ride camels?? Camels and elephants are the best!

I've worked with camels for seven years with Port Maquarie Camel Sefaries and they are by far my most favorate animals. A lot of the time I would prefer to be with my camels than with people. I have nine of them. I would like to talk to more people with camels. Great web site.

your site is great. I have been raising and training camels[drom] since 1988.I make saddles and train to lead, work, ride. I have had many people help me to learn about camels thru the years.Ask me somethin I might be able to help. We now have 7 females and one stud. We have had as many as 34 for 2 years.Treat them with love and kindness and they will treat you back the same.Thank you this oppertunity to talk to other people about camels.
